Mobupps Insider: Q&A and Career Opportunities

How is Mobupps team workflow looking from the inside? Stable growth, market expertise, and many years of experience are Mobupps' advantages over competitors. We asked the team across different departments three similar questions about their Mobupps experience, and here are the answers we got.

Murat Solendil - Business Development Manager

Murat is a part of the Mobupps Sales team. He spends most of his time developing our services in new markets. Therefore, Murat communicates quite a lot with new potential partners and clients of Mobupps.

The first question: What have you learned while working at Mobupps?

"Working at Mobupps showed me there is still a lot to learn: ways to fight off and avoid stagnation, learn new skills and most importantly, never give up. If you can't change the situation, change your mindset. We all know that results matter, obviously, and we have to strive for improvement. Yet, at Mobupps, we also know the value and importance of the effort, because it teaches us that we can do more than we ever thought possible."

Who are our clients and target audience? Why is it important to be on the same page with partners? How do you interact with clients, what communication chips do you use?

"The easy answer here is "anyone with a mobile app", willing to acquire users to their mobile apps. However, since every client has different expectations and goals, we must be on the same page with our partners. Only then can we maximize our efforts for problem-solving and help our partners achieve and surpass their goals."

What was the most challenging case at work? And how could you solve this situation? Who or what helps you overcome difficulties at work?

"Of course, we all have "good days" and "bad days", and sometimes the root cause of the problem is tied to our approach and actions, while sometimes it is entirely related to external factors. I believe it is key to identify and address this very distinct separation, to resolve the issue.  In my case, there were times when I felt & thought that I would not reach even a single sale - and I'm positive that I'll go through similar days once again because it's not always "bright & sunny". In such situations, one should assess the problem, then the actions of the resolution, and, finally, review the results (and not act emotionally during this process). Furthermore, while doing so, never refrain from asking the team. After all, everyone has their own experience and every opinion matters. This is one of the things that I value at Mobupps: we are all ready to "chip in" and build something together."

Anton Kostov - Marketing Director

Anton has been working for Mobupps for 3 years. His department is engaged in the company’s marketing strategy, inbound lead generation, and PR events. He is responsible for Mobupps' recognition worldwide.

What have you learned while working at Mobupps?

"I was given a lot of opportunities to experiment and find my own workflow. This made me learn that there’s nothing we can’t handle. We had a lot of test projects, that didn’t show any incredible results in the first period. But with time we learned to make them successful. And that’s the main lesson I’ve learned - failure is the first step to success if you have people, who believe in you."

Who are our clients and target audience? Why is it important to be on the same page with partners? How do you interact with clients, what communication chips do you use?

"Companies, looking for rapid growth are the most common partners of Mobupps. It is important to not be on the other side of the table but rather work as a unit with partners. We all have the same goals and look in the same direction. To make this happen, we always think of our partner’s interests as of our own."

What was the most challenging case at work? And how could you solve this situation? Who or what helps you overcome difficulties at work?

"Trust from the team always helps to find workarounds in whatever happens. The most challenging part is when I had a period when every single thing went wrong. I had like 10 tasks on me, and all of them were going south in terms of result delivery. I was ready to hear critics because I deserved it. But what happened was everybody knew about my awareness of the situation and my active search for solutions and I was trusted with an opportunity to do so. Luckily we were able to work things out after all."

What have you learned while working at Mobupps?

"I have learned a lot while working at Mobupps. I can note the importance of strong and supportive co-workers and management and the impact this has on my daily work. I am also learning to pay more attention to the people who report to me. In my last job, I paid less attention to things that were not job-related, but at Mobupps I learned to pay more attention to many different aspects of the relationship between myself as a team leader and my team members."

Who are our clients and target audience? Why is it important to be on the same page with partners? How do you interact with clients, what communication chips do you use?

"For me, at my operations, I can say - clients are my partners. As partners there is a relationship in which both sides need to be happy with the work and results, it means bringing added value to each other. Added value brings the budgets, spends, revenues, and Profit. From here comes the importance of being at the "same wavelength" with them, because of the bilateral aspects. Most of my communications with partners are done through Skype chats and then comes Emails and calls. And then I can also mention meetings, face-to-face during conferences or sometimes at offices. I'll mention that there are partners that with them we are more kind of friends who function as partners and we are also aware of personal things happening with each other (no chats that are 100% work), we wait to meet each other and from here comes long-lasting valuable & respectful partnership, while with others the conversations are 100% work and we do not involve anything apart from that."

What was the most challenging case at work? And how could you solve this situation? Who or what helps you overcome difficulties at work?

"For me, the most difficult thing is to lose a valuable client/partner because of things that I can not have 100% control over, such as a case of fraudulent activity that happens because of another partner. I usually solve such cases with techniques that I gained with time, such as negotiations that I do, or explanations that I learned how to give. What helps me also to overcome such cases in our work is that I learned to take things from the proper perspective, also that I know that as much as I need, I have Mobupps support and backup."
